Tapestry beaters are perfect for tapestry looms and other small looms when you're weaving a weft-dominant or weft-faced fabric. Our 2 styles (sold separately) are made of hard maple with a smooth Danish oil finish. See below for details.
- Our new Duet beater comes with interchangeable metal combs, set at 8 ends per inch and 12 ends per inch. To change combs, just loosen the screw in the handle, swap out the comb, and then retighten the screw.
- Choose the Weighted beater when you really want to cram in the weft yarn. Its wooden teeth are set at 5 ends per inch.
The Single-ended beater has been discontinued as of July 2025. The Double-ended beater has been discontinued as of January 2025. We recommend the Duet beater as a substitute.
